Sutton (Calle Tuset 13, Barcelona) – located in the upscale Diagonal/Tuset area of Barcelona and opened in 2001, this is one of the trendiest nightspots in the city (attracting VIPs from actor Nicholas Cage, to football stars Ronaldo and Ronaldinho). For that reason, there’s a strict dress code (and a preference for free-spending high-rollers). Along with its long bar, are VIP-type lounge areas. It’s best-known for booking big-name dance music acts, such as the Black Eyed Peas, Calvin Harris, and Pitbull, among others. Fashion shows are occasionally held here, too.
