National Auditorium of Music

National Auditorium of Music (Calle Príncipe de Vergara 146, Madrid) — this is an organization dependent on the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music under the Ministry of Culture. The building, brainchild of architect Jose María García Paredes, was inaugurated in 1988. The auditorium’s two concert halls, for Symphonic and Chamber music, seat 2,324 and 692 respectively. This layout allows the auditorium to hold up to four concerts daily, with afternoon and evening sessions. The National Auditorium of Music plays an important role in the world of music, as its facilities are made available to persons and entities, both public and private, for holding musical activities.
