Museu Picasso (Calle Montcada, Barcelona) — as the name implies, this museum houses one of the largest collections of artwork by Pablo Picasso. Opened in 1963, there are over 3,500 works by Picasso at this location. The museum’s very existence in Barcelona stresses the artist’s special relationship with this city. The museum itself is located within five buildings dating back from the 13th & 14th centuries.

Admission: €11 (Museum + temporary exhibition), €6.60 (temporary exhibit “Yo Picasso, Self-Portraits). Reduced admission (€6) for visitors under 29, seniors over 65, and the unemployed). Hours: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm (Tuesday to Sunday). Closed on Mondays.
