Estadi Olimpic Lluís Companys (Barcelona) – originally built in 1927, this Stadium was renovated in 1989 in time for the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. It is now rated as a five-star venue by UEFA, which entitles it to host top-level European football matches. The stadium is named after Lluís Companys, the president of the Catalan government during the Spanish Civil War. Nowadays, musical events are held here, such as Bruce Springsteen, Shakira, and Muse, among other artists.
